Q4 2020 - Finish Strong
This year has meant a lot of change for the world. A lot has changed with Metric Mate. We all will come out stronger and more capable when tides change again. We are maintaining our goal to change the way people do fitness, our team is even more phenomenal, and we see a bright future for our Metric Mate community. Q4 is about taking advantage of opportunities, realizing our potential, and showcasing our platform. 2020 has definitely showed out in a positive way for Metric Mate, 2021 will be no different.
Funding Conversations
One of the biggest hurdles for a technology Start-up is generating capital to function through countless tests, iterations, and approvals. Metric Mate is currently in a seed funding raise to support company development through platform improvements, branding, and personnel. Through a lot of pre-pandemic hand shaking, amazing mentors, and lots of follow up emails, we have been able to spread the word about the Metric Mate platform and make some connections at many investment engines powering some of the top tech start-ups on the market.
Other avenues we have been pursuing to close this funding gap are Grants, Incubators and Pitch Competitions. Though the application process gets easier over time, making contact and receiving feedback are a constant struggle. We have applied to numerous opportunities and will be applying to many more. The process is a slow one, but we are no where near tired.
As we continue developing the platform, moving toward releasing the first Metric Mate SMART Device in 2021, an investment opportunity will present itself enabling Metric Mate to operate securely running on all cylinders.

Though we are in a technological age, consumer behavior has not entirely changed. When a company is introducing a product that disrupts an industry, one of the main uphill battles is customer understanding and engagement. Metric Mate has been exploring ways to excite the user to learn about a technology they don't understand and to engage with the platform to learn the skills needed to unlock it's advantages. Since the pandemic, we have been taking advantage of technology by showcasing our patented platform on Podcasts, Live Interviews, and other avenues to keep increasing customer education and brand recognition. This has allowed us to begin building a following and generating a buzz for our product release. We are always on the hunt for more opportunities to talk about Metric Mate, our team, and our future.

Pre-Orders for Metric Mate SMART Pin Coming Soon
Soon, you will be able to put your name in line to get a Metric Mate SMART Pin for our 2021 release. Through a lot of late nights and long phone calls, Metric Mate has reached the point where we will start Pre-Orders on our website in the upcoming weeks. We will be sending out an email as well as issuing a press release when the pre-order process goes live on our website.
Another Patent On The Way!
You read that right! Metric Mate's patent portfolio is growing! Improving our technology is our main focus, and protecting that technology from foreign interlopers is just as important. That's why we have dedicated resources to secure all of our intellectual property.
With newly allowed patentable subject matter, the Metric Mate legal team is on its way to securing another patent for our portfolio. This type of protection is invaluable and will allow us to become the premier fitness technology around the globe.

Regular exercise changes the brain to improve memory, thinking skills
There are plenty of good reasons to be physically active. Some major ones include reducing the odds of developing heart disease, stroke, and diabetes. Maybe you want to lose weight, lower your blood pressure, prevent depression, or just look better. Here’s another one, which especially applies to those of us (including me) experiencing the brain fog that comes with age: exercise changes the brain in ways that protect memory and thinking skills.
